A Few Christmas Decorations - post to my diary

With all the crazy stuff goin on, I thought I'd add some pics of my Christmas decorations.  I love decorating for the holiday.  I also had so much fun in Chicago at the christkindle market with my sisters - something we do every year and as well we each brought with the hubbys to the Milwaukee market.  We had soooooo much fun!!!

New Part of the Journey - post to my diary

Just a few changes at the Born household.  I've left my position at MDA as departure packages were offered to 90 national employees who met the criteria and I've heard that 70 took the offer.  A little different around the Born homestead as my hubby has retired just this December.  We are adjusting to living together 24/7 and are loving each others company.

I've been stitching more and getting back to my sewing machine - mostly using the embroidery arm and stitching out a couple of pieces.  We made our way out to Las Vegas with some friends - this being my hubby's first visit there.  We also celebrated his retirement party with his colleagues and I was so very fortunate to have all three of my boys be with us for the evening!

Valentine decorations!

This is a Christmas freebie that was offered from a sampler FB page...I love it BUT...I'm stitching over one on 40 count - whew.  I just want to get her done!!!!

We spent some time in Vegas with some great longtime friends of ours.  We had a great time.  Didn't win but didn't loose either. :)

A chandelier that was hanging in one of the casinos.  I love them.  I have one from my old house that I want to get hung in our dining room.  BUT we have a million foot ceiling that we need to figure out.

My favorite Christmas piece.  BOAF A Joyous Nativity.  Stitched over one on what I think is 28/30 count.  The frame is Hog River.
